Enova and Inmaquip join forces to better satisfy needs of Middle East’s airports and travelers alike

Joint holistic offer for airports following recent MoU by Enova, the region’s Energy & Facilities Management leader, and Inmaquip,
one of the world’s largest aviation engineering solution providers

Air traffic expected to double by 2031  with the Middle East accounting for a 18% share , according to the Airports Council International (ACI)

Enova, the Middle East’s leading Energy & Facilities Management specialist, and Inmaquip, one of the world’s largest aviation engineering solution provider of airport equipment, installation and maintenance, have joined forces and are now presenting an unrivaled holistic offer to the Middle East’s region airports, with a strong focus on passenger well-being.

The companies, which are participating jointly at the Dubai Airport Show next week, have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding to combine their complementary expertise in Facilities Management, Operations & Maintenance services, and Energy Management. This partnership allows to meet all airport needs at once, from increased service efficiency and management of specialized airport systems to enhanced passenger comfort and safety.

Passenger experience defines the quality of airport operations, making it a key priority for us together with increased efficiency and a reduction of utilities cost. Staying true to our vision of servicing our customers’ customers, Enova has, for a long time, been delivering high-end Energy & Facilities Management services to airports across the Middle East, so travelers can experience the utmost comfort, efficiency, and safety.
Anne Le Guennec
Chief Executive Officer, Enova

Enova is a long-standing regional expert in airport maintenance services, with bases in the Gulf, Levant, and North Africa. Because not all airports have the same needs, Enova has developed MOOVE, a range of offers that guarantees strong and immediate results. Enhancing comfort, design, and sustainability, this ‘one-stop shop’, tailor-made package for the transportation industry boosts efficiency and guarantees performance of all managed assets, resulting in cost reductions, while simultaneously increasing passenger comfort and allowing the clients to focus on their core business.

The announcement comes at a busy time for the aviation and transportation industry. Air traffic is expected to double by 2031, according to projections from the Airports Council International (ACI). The Middle East business is forecasted to be responsible for nearly 18% of this growth, thanks to its strategic location that has allowed it to become a global hub.

“As air travel is booming, accommodating the growing flow of passengers and ensuring 24/7 service continuity is one of the biggest challenges of airport management. Airports face fierce competition forcing them to expand and re-invent their services to suit both increased air traffic and high passenger expectations,” explained Le Guennec. “Our newly formed partnership with Inmaquip allows Enova to enhance the service offering tailored to the aviation sector, enabling us to provide an all-encompassing solution,” she added.

Pablo Steer, CEO of Inmaquip, agreed: “This venture fits perfectly with our vision to become the most reliable global solution provider for the installation and maintenance of specialized airport equipment. In Enova, we have found the ideal partner, potentiating our services and enabling us to satisfy our clients’ needs even more efficiently. Our customers will benefit from a local presence and professional support, provided under a very competitive model.”

Enova is present in seven countries across the MENA region and showcases a broad portfolio of clients, among which Sharjah International Airport (since 2011) and Abu Dhabi’s Al Ain International Airport (since 2013). Being a joint venture between the Dubai-based conglomerate Majid Al Futtaim and French leader in optimized resource management Veolia, Enova guarantees reductions in energy and water consumption, thus improving the airport’s environmental footprint and generating sustainable savings over the long term. These are key steps towards the Airport Carbon Accreditation system which Enova can support the implementation in full.

Inmaquip has established itself as a global leader in airport equipment installation and maintenance with more than 70 projects in over 50 cities spread across all 5 continents. Boasting a presence in 31 countries, its capabilities include the provision, installation, and structural assembly of mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment.
